Faith for Black Lives
Faith for Black Lives was birthed during the double pandemics of 2020, a global health pandemic and a racial justice uprising after the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
Founded by Rev. Stephen A. Green and a coalition of dedicated faith leaders, our organization has been in the forefront of mass mobilizations for racial justice, reproductive justice and democracy reform.
Grounded in the principles of Kingian nonviolence, Faith for Black Lives empowers faith leaders and communities to actively engage in advocacy, activism, and the arts.
Today, we continue our mission, as a grassroots movement organization committed to build a beloved community through radical love in action.
